1971年から1973年の間に行われたBBC Sessionなどをまとめた音源集。若干音が薄い(?)ためエアチェック録音主体だろうと思われる。Thin Lizzy初期のギタリスト、Eric Bell在籍時の音源がまとめて聞ける機会は、"Peel sessions"*1以外には皆無のため、稀少な音源だといえる。が、この頃はまだThin LizzyはRockが主体のため、中期以降のハードさを求める人にはお薦めは出来ない。
尚、Tr.5"Whiskey in the Jar"、Tr.11"Little girl in bloom"、Tr.12"Vagabond's of the Western World"は前出の"Peel sessions"に収録されているテイク。
